The RASA/BF – Purchasing Network for Food Security in Burkina Faso – project is started under the best auspices: good food and a team totally (or nearly) composed by women!
The kick-off meeting with the local partner ICCV-Nazemse toke place on the 13th and putted into effect the beginning of the RASA project, that formally started on the 9th of January 2015. I had the pleasure of discovering that the project'team will be composed on prevalence by young and well-motivated women and completed by the presence of the local Coordinator and President of ICCV, the enthusiastic Simon Nacoulma!
We went rapidly on with the discussion of the first administrative and logistic issues of the project and the sharing of procedures required from the financing entity, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
There are a lot of things to do and one year will pass quickly, we don't have time to lose!
